To understand the mind of a child is to be a child also, this is not a story or a fragment of history to be repeated. This is an impression or interpretation of a world through the windows of a child’s eyes.
Through physical gesture we explore this territory, language plays with our senses to uncover the hidden pathways we have yet to explore. We may lose touch with our inner child so the spark of imagination is cut off.
How do children imagine with a world at war? Where do we begin when they could not see an end?
‘The light from a child’s eye can hide a dark sky.’
